Zackry Guest House Review, Map & Contact Details

For LIMA Langkawi 2011, we stayed at Zackry Guest House. It is located in Pantai Tengah area. Book Private Twin Ensuite room for two day from Dec 8 - 10, 2011. Total cost for the stay was RM 130 RM. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Fyi, they got 3 friendly dog at their guest house. And the internet is bit slow.

To get to the guest house from Airport, just go to the airport taxi counter. The taxi charge to the guest house is RM 20 per trip.

Besides the guest house got some western, chinese and seafood restaurants. Got a malay restaurant as well just few meters from the guest house. The environment is peaceful except in the evening and night expect to hear Mexican songs from the nearby Mexican Restaurant.

You can rent motorbike and cars from T Shoppe, just 3 minutes walk heading to Holiday Villa direction. You can rent a scooter for RM 33 per day. They got cheaper scooters as well.

From the guest house it is less than 5 minute ride to Pantai Chenang, it is most popular beach in Langkawi. Take your breakfast at Nasi Tomato Kandar and go for a swim at Pantai Cenang. It just behind the restaurant. Nice to go for a swim in early morning (> 7.30 am ). The beach is shallow and water is crystal clear. As any beach always take precaution !

There a lot of eateries at Pantai Cenang. And Langkawi Underwater World, is just nearby.

Overall the guest house is value for money, but if you want to find a hotel/ hostel find a place to stay in Pantai Cenang area, that's the best place to be. You can get a taxi back to airport for only RM 20.
